Revival Retreat 2025
This retreat brings together Nur Sa’aadah’s primary objectives: The pursuit of knowledge, spiritual devotion, and community engagement.

Reviving the Islamic sciences
The Revival Retreat is a unique opportunity for seekers on the path of sacred knowledge. This retreat brings together Nur Sa’aadah’s primary objectives: the pursuit of knowledge, spiritual devotion, and community engagement.
This year, Book II — On Belief — from Imam al-Ghazali’s Ihya ʿUlum al-Din (The Revival of the Religious Sciences) will be studied through immersive lectures and interactive sessions led by our dear teachers Sh. Yahya Rhodus (US), Sh. Musab Penfound (Yemen) and Sh. Yasser Qureshy (Turkey). There will also be guest teachers attending.
Alongside lectures, the daily schedule will include congregational prayers and gatherings of remembrance. Students will have the opportunity to benefit directly from our teachers through reflective and interactive sessions. This will all take place in an idyllic space surrounded by forest land and water.

Reviving the heart
It is hoped that this combination of sacred knowledge, devotional acts, companionship and a serene natural environment will benefit the heart, bringing about openings, purification and ascension.
Students will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner at the communal hall where attendees will eat together. Food served will be wholesome and nourishing, intended to compliment the devotional works students will be engaging in throughout the day and night.
This Retreat is aimed at adults over the age of 18, however, if you are a family or have children and you would like to attend, please register below and we will do our utmost to accommodate you.
