About Nur Sa'aadah

Our mission is to uplift the human spirit through the acquisition of sacred knowledge, the implementation of that knowledge, and the spreading of it.

Sacred Knowledge: Teaching and learning sacred knowledge through authentic chains of transmission is fundamental to our mission: “This matter of ours (chain of transmission) is religion itself, so look at whom you take it from”. The preservation of such knowledge benefits the human condition with its power to transform the individual and community.

Implementation: Ritual and devotional practice strengthens the heart which has acquired sound knowledge. We hope to facilitate this at Nur Sa’aadah through weekly gatherings of remembrance and praise, classes, retreats, and Suhba [Righteous Companionship].

Community: Family and community are naturally affected by the transformation that an individual experiences, upon receiving and acting upon sound knowledge. Nur Sa’aadah’s ambition to uplift people through service seeks to share beauty, love and harmony, rooted in sacred tradition.

Support us: In the last four years, Nur Sa’aadah has grown exponentially in serving its community through essential classes, gatherings of remembrance, facilitating spaces for Suhba (righteous companionship) and much more. By your du'as, support, generous contributions, and ultimately, by the enabling grace of Allah (Glory be to Him), we continue to support the community.
