Exploring Quranic Wisdoms is Nur Sa’aadah’s weekly class on Quranic exegesis taught by Sh. Hasan Shire.
Held both online and in person, the aim of the weekly sessions is to provide focussed insights into various meanings and benefits from the Book of Allah.
In our classes, Sh. Hasan covers several themes, including gaining closeness to Allah, reflections, and the means of creating a closer relations with the Qurʾan.
Beginning the series with the opening chapter, al-Fatihah, during Ramadan 2024, we continue every Wednesday with a deep dive into further verses and chapters from the Qurʾan followed by a Q&A session.

Shaykh Hasan Shire
Shaykh Hasan Shire, a distinguished London based chaplain, has dedicated a decade of his life to the in-depth study of Islamic disciplines in Hadramout, Yemen.
His academic pursuit encompassed a broad spectrum of Islamic sciences, including Islamic legal theory, Hadith, and spiritual sciences.
Studied under luminaries such as Habib ʿUmar bin Hafiẓ, Habib ʿAli Mashhur bin Hafiẓ, Habib Kaẓim al-Saqqaf.
Serves in Essex as a chaplain within a private hospital setting, and is a Hospital Chaplain at University College London Hospitals.
